I’ve wanted to return to France since the day I got home from my first trip there. Paris exceeded expectations. Driving through the country was relaxing and fun, and this was before Google Maps on a phone was a thing, which is perhaps what made it better. There was actual exploring to be done. It was 2009 and I was equipped with my Canon 5D and a variety of lenses, back when I carried everything with me everywhere.
